My favorite TV show is the Chinese drama Three Kingdoms. I love watching how Liu Bei built his power and eventually became the King of Hanzhong.
I also really admire Guan Yu’s loyalty to Liu Bei. Even though Cao Cao treated him extremely well, Guan Yu’s resolve never wavered.
I’m also a fan of Zhuge Liang’s loyalty, wisdom, and brilliant strategies.
The 2010 version of Three Kingdoms was so well-produced; I’ve rewatched it many times. But honestly, I like the original novel even more. The story is more detailed, and the language is elegant and concise, making it a great resource for learning Chinese.
