I truly believe some people are so transactional. When you’re useful to them, they’re nice to you, but once they no longer need you, you become invisible to them.
Most people would at least offer a quick greeting, a nod, or a slight smile—unlike those transactional types who only give you the cold shoulder.
Sometimes I genuinely wonder why people are so transactional. I even wonder, "Aren't they afraid they might need us again someday?"
I honestly have no idea what goes through their minds.
