The Struggle with Winter Cravings

Recently, I’ve been eating a lot. Even after I finish dinner, I still feel like having instant noodles, cookies, snacks, or chocolate. Maybe it’s because of the chilly weather, but honestly, it’s getting a bit out of hand.

I know instant noodles aren’t healthy, but sometimes I just can’t help but crave them. Like last night...after dinner, I really wanted something hot and soupy, so I immediately thought of those Wei Lih spicy noodles (維力素飄香麻辣麵) my mom bought a few days ago.

They were so delicious, and the spicy soup warmed me up right away. I felt amazing.

But a few hours after I finished the noodles, a small pimple popped up on my chin. I knew it was because spicy food can cause inflammation. So yeah… I really need to lay off the spicy food.

Dear Medicine Buddha, I need to quit instant noodles if I want to live a healthy life. Please give me the willpower to overcome these cravings.
