I saw some news today about Taipei’s mayor talking about limiting smoking in public places. If it really happens, the whole “smoke-free city” plan could roll out by the end of 2026.
Honestly, I’m pretty happy about it, even though I don’t live in Taipei. I really can’t stand the smell of cigarettes. It’s just gross to me. I don’t care who’s smoking...young or old, good-looking or not, men or women. If someone smokes near me, I just want to get away.
It’s not just about health issues, but also the bad smell. Maybe, deep down, it has something to do with my dad. He wasn’t very responsible, and he used to smoke a lot.
