Alex Honnold vs. Taipei 101

American rock climber Alex Honnold just managed to scale Taipei 101, a 508-meter-tall skyscraper, entirely by hand. The most insane part? He did the whole thing free solo without any safety harnesses or ropes.

Man, this is wild! I truly admire his bravery and sheer guts, though I have to admit, it didn't give me much of a thrill. Maybe that’s just because I’m not a climber myself. I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone try this. No matter how experienced you are, you never know what could happen once you're up there, especially without a safety net. From another perspective, this kind of thing is basically flirting with death.
