I don’t really play games anymore, but I used to be a huge fan of Resident Evil 4. I’ve played it countless times, and even today, it’s still my all-time favorite game.
So what makes it so good? I’ve always loved survival horror and adventure games, especially ones where you have to rescue someone. And Resident Evil 4 absolutely nails that.
I love watching Leon survive against all odds, take down enemies one by one, and eventually rescue Ashley, the president’s daughter. The best part, though, is how they actually work together to solve puzzles and move forward. It’s especially thrilling when Ashley gets captured again and Leon has to fight his way through enemies while trying to save her.
Even after all these years, Resident Evil 4 still stands as the best survival horror game out there.
