I just read some horrific news. It’s about a Chinese influencer nicknamed Umi, who was invited to Cambodia by her boyfriend.
He convinced her to move there by promising a high-paying job and a prosperous future together. But things took a dark turn.
Recently, she was found homeless and completely disoriented, holding nothing but her own X-rays showing a broken leg. She could barely speak and seemed totally lost.
While we don’t know the full story, there are rumors that her boyfriend sold her because of his massive gambling debts.
Whatever the truth may be, it’s absolutely heartbreaking.
So please don’t be lured in by promises of high-paying jobs abroad.
Think twice before making a move like that. If you want to earn a better living, focus on mastering a new skill in your own country.
Cambodia has become a hotbed for scams. Please be careful.
Most importantly, be careful who you trust, even the men in your life. Don't let a "romantic" promise blind you to the potential dangers.
