What Kind of Exercise Do You Do to Stay Healthy?

I used to do push-ups, sit-ups, and squats, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more interested in Ping Shuai Gong(平甩功).

It’s a type of Qigong, and honestly, it’s mostly just swinging your arms.

It sounds super simple, but it actually has a lot of benefits. It can boost your immune system, improve your balance, make your body more flexible, strengthen your muscles, joints, and bones, improve blood and Qi circulation, give you more energy, clear your mind, and even help you sleep better.

Whenever I practice Ping Shuai Gong for about an hour, I feel really relaxed afterward.

And the best part? It’s very gentle. People of all ages can do it, and it’s really safe.

So here’s how it works:

Just stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Swing both arms forward together up to shoulder height, then swing them back behind your body.

Every fifth swing, slightly bend your knees and then straighten them again.

That’s it. Simple, easy, and surprisingly effective.
