So the other day, I read a random thread from a young girl. She said she’d been chatting with a boy online for just a few days, and then he confessed… like, “I really like you!" "I’ve never liked someone that much in my life!" But she said no because it was way too soon.
Later, she noticed he was leaving flirty comments on other girls’ posts. She messaged him about it, but he got annoyed and even blocked her. Now she’s super confused.
Here’s the thing:
be careful. If you only know someone for a few days and they say you’re beautiful, *I like you*, or even *I love you*… that’s not love. It’s just lust. They don’t really know what they’re talking about---lust is just taking over their mind.
Think about it: how can someone really know you in just a few days? Most of the time, they’re only attracted to how you look. And if another girl they find more attractive comes along… yeah, they’ll move on. If you say no, it really doesn’t matter to them, because there are plenty of other girls out there.
So remember: true love takes time and understanding, not just a quick attraction.
