So, something totally stupid happened today. I was driving the family back from the monastery when the dashboard started going haywire---a red car icon was flashing and it wouldn't stop beeping.
I started freaking out a little because I’d never seen that light before. I was so scared the car was just going to crap out or stall in the middle of the road, so I was driving on edge the whole time.
Then, I happened to glance in the rearview and saw the trunk bouncing---turns out it wasn't latched! I was so relieved, but I still needed to find a spot to pull over. Right as I was pulling off, a guy drove past, rolled down his window, and yelled that our trunk was open. Honestly, what a legend. I really appreciated the heads-up, but I’d totally do the same for someone else.
Anyway, I slammed it shut and everything’s back to normal now.
