I saw a post on Threads today where this young vegetarian girl was venting about an older relative. This person wouldn't stop lecturing her about how "unhealthy" being a vegetarian is.
She finally had enough and snapped back, "I probably get way more nutrients than you do anyway," and they absolutely lost their mind.
Honestly, a vegetarian diet is way better for you and has fewer toxins—if you're eating whole foods. The secret is to stay away from that over-processed "fake meat" and just stick to the real stuff.
Also, for my vegan/vegetarian friends, I highly recommend getting into chanting Buddhist scriptures. Once you're consistent with it, you’ll feel this crazy-strong energy supporting you. It’s not just a mental thing; you’ll actually feel it in your physical health, too.
